1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ForgeReceipt ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ForgeReceipt is a free online tool that allows users to create digital receipts for legitimate purposes. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

3. Permitted Use

ForgeReceipt is intended exclusively for lawful purposes. Acceptable uses include, but are not limited to:

• Creating receipts for legitimate business transactions you have conducted
• Generating receipt templates for your business
• Replacing lost or damaged receipts for transactions that actually occurred
• Educational, design, or demonstration purposes
• Testing or prototyping receipt layouts for software projects

4. Prohibited Use

You may NOT use ForgeReceipt for any illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose. Specifically, you agree NOT to:

• Create fraudulent receipts — fabricating receipts for transactions that never occurred in order to deceive any person or organization
• Commit expense fraud — submitting fake receipts to employers, insurance companies, tax authorities, or any other party for reimbursement of expenses not actually incurred
• Engage in tax fraud — generating false receipts to claim illegitimate tax deductions or credits
• Facilitate insurance fraud — creating receipts to support false insurance claims
• Forge evidence — producing fake receipts for use in legal proceedings, disputes, or investigations
• Engage in any other illegal activity — using generated receipts in connection with money laundering, identity theft, counterfeiting, or any other criminal activity

Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of access to the Service and may be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.

5. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use receipts generated through ForgeReceipt. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that your use complies with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.

6. No Liability

ForgeReceipt provides a tool for generating receipts. We are not responsible for how users choose to use the output. We expressly disclaim any liability for damages arising from misuse of the Service, including but not limited to legal consequences resulting from fraudulent use of generated receipts.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code on ForgeReceipt is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service without our written permission. Receipts you generate are yours to use in accordance with these Terms.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice — including if we reasonably believe you are using the Service in violation of these Terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
